Tanning Salon Equipment - Where do you start?
Lets face it - this is where you'll spend the money. To have a tanning salon that offers enough to cover most or your customer's tanning needs, you will want to consider the following equipment:

3. Medium pressure tanning beds (or stand ups)
If your salon can offer all of the above, your customers won't have a need to try someplace else. In the case of the stand up tanning beds (or booths as they are also called,) they can take up less room since you can also purchase them with built on dressing rooms!
Of course you will want to have the latest and greatest, but it might even make sense to start with some used equipment. You can always upgrade as your knowledge (and finances) allow later. Used equipment is often refurbished to the point of looking brand new. Most used tanning bed wholesalers will also throw in new tanning lamps and acrylics at no charge.
You will find many online vendors willing to sell you tanning equipment. Call them all. Ask them questions. Do they offer free honest advice or are they in a hurry to "make the sale?" Again, do your research!
