The cost of opening a tanning salon
There are quite a few things to keep in mind when budgeting for your new salon. If you want to cover all your bases and have a little start up cash, you will spend from $50,000 to $200,000. Some of the things you will want to consider:
1. Buy or Lease a building
2. Construction Costs
3. Equipment Costs
4. Training Costs
Of course there are more things to consider, but these are the basics. You might be lucky enough to purchase or lease a place that was a salon at one time and therefor will take minimum construction costs. There are many companies that lease equipment too.
Please don't make the mistake of buying into a tanning salon franchise. Why should you give away a portion of your monthly income just because someone else thought up the name. You can do this yourself and with a lot less headaches than following someone else's idea of how your tanning salon should be!
